"Spent most of today carrying out a deep clean at Telford Music School. Firstly we scrubbed all hard surfaces including walls, ceilings, woodwork, desks and equipment and then used disinfectant wipes on high frequency contact areas such as door knobs, sanitary facilities, chairs, desks and keyboards etc. We then cleaned all carpets and upholstered chairs.
Now when students and staff are able to return, they will be greeted by a reeeeeeeaaally clean and safe environment."

TMS Welcomes New Teacher
Chris Allen M.A. - Vocal / Drama
Chris Allen has been singing and performing in shows and concerts from an early age. With a background of training and experience in musical theatre, he now regularly performs jazz classics in a Rat Pack tribute act, and has also performed across the West Midlands in an acoustic covers band. He also received three years of training from classical tenor Joshua Ellicott whilst studying History at the University of York; a valuable experience which he feels has improved both his own technique and his teaching across all genres.
He has been working as a freelance singing teacher for two years, but has been coaching and encouraging young singers for much longer, through his volunteer work with the award-winning Walsall-based youth theatre group Spotlight Youth Productions. He has been an active participant in the West Midlands amateur dramatics scene for almost twenty years, both as a performer and as a musical director (he is currently Musical Director of Little Shop Of Horrors with Followspot Productions, a group he co-founded in 2015). He also workshopped a new musical named Wardrobe, at both the Leicester Curve Theatre and The Old Joint Stock in Birmingham in 2017/18.
Chris believes that singing is all about enjoyment, both for the performer and the audience, and his lessons and teaching style look to reflect this. His laid-back, personable lessons help instruct the student in the fundamentals of good vocal technique, in the performance skills which take a rendition of a song to another level and in simply how to get the most enjoyment and fulfilment out of your voice.

She has an extensive musical performance background, appearing in over 40 shows and cabaret style concerts and is involved with many local Amateur Theatre companies. She has been fortunate to play various parts over the years but her favourite role she has portrayed is Daniella, the feisty, sassy hair salon owner in the musical 'The Heights'.
Amy gained her DipLCM in Musical Theatre in2014, and has her Level 3 National Extended Diploma D*D*D* in Dance and has been a freelance teacher for many years, working at 'The Royal School', 'Lucy Evans Academy Of Dance', 'Youth On Stage' and most recently 'Telford Music School'.

Hi I'm Rosie, I've studied at TMS since I was just 5 years old and many times over the years I've been called Rapunzel by both the parents and staff because of my long blonde hair, Now measuring an amazing 3ft in length i have never had it cut not even a trim. Over the years Its been great for musical theatre as its won me some fantastic roles in some really great productions. Everywhere I go Its always a conversation starter and ive been stopped all around the world London, Spain, Paris and New York by people all wanting to touch my hair which is something I'm very proud of, However im soon to be moving on to secondary school and i feel its time to leave the little girl look behind and so on my 11th birthday next week i am going to brave the scissors and get it cut. After thoroughly thinking it through I dont want this to be the end of my story so I'm going to donate at least 14 inches of my hair to The Little Princess Trust.
The Little Princess Trust provides free of charge, real-hair wigs for children suffering with cancer, they also fund pioneering life-saving research and in 2016, thanks to donations and fundraising done by children like myself they were able to begin funding academics and organisations involved in researching the causes of paediatric cancers like neuroblastoma, leukaemia and teenage and young adult brain tumours.
To make just one real life hair wig for a child who has lost their hair to cancer costs a huge £350 so it is so important that this fantastic charity gets as much support as we can give so if just giving my hair to The Little Princess Trust makes one child smile again it will be worth it.
